[a laugh] Nothing usually. It's not so much about one thing happening as...a whole bunch of things that we tend to ignore.

You know how the there's always those things we can't explain? People say deja vu or they were imagining things or "it was like a dream" and then they come up with the most likely explanation. And sometimes that's true enough...but there's also those things that we just can't accept, so we make up other reasons that sound more believable. Because explaining to the cops that someone you know was kidnapped through time, or that goblins are hunting you down because you accidentally picked up something that belongs to them doesn't usually go over well.
