25th Confession [Written/Action][Early on the 23rd for MAXIMUM HEAT WAVE]

Vash was snatched up just as things were getting calm, so to appease his gnawing aggravation over needle noggin's surprise vacation, he took to the lake more often; shockingly, he was getting pretty good at it, and as the days wore on, he was clearing more distance without stopping for a breather. Not to mention, staying stationary in Luceti meant losing muscle mass, and he had no room for losing the ability to tote that heavy son-of-a-bitch gun.

Of course, that talk with Sanji a few days back had him thinking. Always thinking, this one. He sits under a tree by the lake, still wet from the swim, with pen in hand. The question really takes him back. Reminds him of Vash and the girls, and of himself.]

Hey, a question—how many of you were nomadic? Traveled from place to place, not really labeling one single town or house as a home?

[Afterwards, he starts back home after practicing Fire and his just recently sought-after wind magic (he spends a great deal of his time dealing with the spirits, now, because getting better and stronger was important; protecting people was important). [It really is the 3rd option, the sad thing Wolfwood is a saint compared to some of the people who have been in his life.]

[oooooooh that? That pisses him off too. Picking on him was one thing, he's used to getting the shit treatment in life and is a capable fighter, but dragging those ladies into that kind of mess? Definitely doesn't sit well with him. At all.

[That fuming is very justified. Who wouldn't, after knowing the girls? He dips his chin. This isn't going to be easy to throw out into the open; he doesn't know Livio that well, but... he'll trust him with such information.]

He killed the Chapel in my universe as well.

[Admittedly Chapel he couldn't care less about. Even if he never met this Wolfwood's Chapel, after all the suffering his Chapel had caused it... left a permanent stain on the name. But the fact that he killed Wolfwood? Just gave him one more, very good, reason for him to absolutely despise the man. He is so very pissed off that this happened, and that there was nothing he could do about it.

But that's right, there was nothing he could do about it, was there? So he has to settle himself after a moment of that.]
