10th Confession [Voice/Action][Afternoon of Dec. 4th]

[Heeey, Luceti. So Vash decided to try being like his brother today by deciding he wanted to kill the humans— just a few hours ago, in fact, in which Wolfwood nearly choked to death on his coffee and went out to find the idiot. What ended up happening was a wonderful little conversation fight that ended with gunfire, a tree toppling over, and a flash of light within the forest bright enough to alert anyone near that lake or forested area. Regardless, Wolfwood's counting his blessings: he's not dead, Vash isn't dead, and most importantly, there's still a completely unharmed, whole village.

but oh god Moro is going to bite his face off

Folks, he's damn happy to know that, despite a little environmental damage (I am so sorry, tree), everyone's safe. But there is the problem of Vash being an ass to the people he cares about. And the fact that he threatened to kill them. And the fact that he flapped his gums and told a lot of people a lot of things he'd never want them to know. So there's a voice coming over the journal, a little winded:]

[VOICE//Filtered from Vash, in case he tries to look back on this >.>;;]

All right, Luceti. If you spoke to that guy Vash lately—y'know, tall, blond hair, giant red trench-coat—I just want you to know he was affected by this damn experiment, and that none of the crap he said was him. I think a good amount of you figured as much, but for the people who don't: he was changed. And if I know that needle noggin'd moron, he's going to change back pretty soon, and then beat the shit out of himself internally for saying the things he said.

[He huffs, a short, winded huff. Smoking a cigarette, because honestly, this was a wonderful time to be smoking.]

... Seems like a lot of the people get screwed over by these Malnosso jerks. But the best we can do is try and not give them the satisfaction of disrupting our day-to-day life mentally... Ha, easier said than done, right? But it looks like a lot of people are slowly getting back to normal.

That's good.

[a pause, and then casually spoken:]

With all that outta' the way, it's all dealt with, so don't worry about any of the threats he made. He's not about to follow through on any of those any time soon.

[Another huff, as he inwardly winces.]

By the way, if there's any good healers out there, give me a ring, huh?

[Geez, Luceti is feelin' the hurt today. :(]

[ACTION]

[For anyone who was keeping an eye out for Vash or going off to see if he was up to something, you can find him. Er, sort of. Wolfwood'll be walking down the trail of the western lake, taking the less people-infected routes—unconscious Vash on one shoulder, tied up by the cloth that should be around the cross-gun he's holding in the other hand. He's ruffled, bloody, and looks like he's wanting to light something on fire. But don't worry, he's cool.

He's on his way back to the apartments, so this poor priest can do a little whiskey-drinking before he digs that bullet out of his right shoulder. >:( ]

I could be where you are quickly enough if you tell me where that is. [May as well try to not give Wolfwood a heart attack, that and it's been some time since she's seen Vash, so may as well get the location.]

I'll be there shortly.

[And a few moments later, Wolfwood will hear a knock on the door. Must not have been too far off, right? But strangely, he wouldn't have heard any other doors opening.]

[And she'll come in. She only did knock out of politeness and more because she couldn't quite teleport into an unfamiliar residence as easily as she could the hallway.

But she's going to try and smile and be friendly and all, as much as she can be since she does tend towards being cold.]

Yes, I'm the healer. My name is Iris. Are you the one needing healing then?

[If anything, it might be a bit refreshing because she's also horribly blunt, but overall has a good heart.

And that wound doesn't bother her, but then she's seen much worse. Had much worse too.]

Well, at least it can be dealt with.

[She places her hands around a necklace that she is wearing. It's not really the source of her powers, but she is healing a human and it is always good to keep up the act that her powers were granted and not her own. A light will shine and Wolfwood's wound should feel much better, if not be fully healed.]

[ooc: Up to you on how much he's healed. Iris is a damn good healer and can indeed bring back the dead.]

[Not like she's really going to admit to the wonders she's done, since it involves things like resurrecting a man she killed.]

It is merely that I have the power to do so.

What good is having a power if you never make use of it?

[And she did notice Vash, but from what she can tell he seems to be all right. Still, probably a good idea to ask about him.]

Will Vash be all right or does he also need healing?

In the right hands and the right situation even the most destructive of powers can be used well.

[Not that she knows about Vash's powers, but well, she's been in that situation before and was able to use her most destructive powers to save the lives of two who were destined to die.]

I'm glad Vash will be fine though.

[And it really does seem like she knows Vash already. Though it has been awhile since they last spoke.]

Humans can be very forgiving. I doubt he needs to worry much about what others will think of him. He could not control his actions and I have seen far worse happen while under the control of another.

I don't even know what he did, but I can't fault him for anything he does while an experiment is going on. His actions during a time like this are not his own.

[And to be honest, she's probably topped Vash in horrible deeds, and she did them willingly.]

Then obviously we all need to make sure he doesn't have a chance to stay there long.

I live over in house #2 and can be here in seconds if needed.
