"You've gotta' be fucking kidding me—"

Wolfwood has been teleporting since he found Vash dangling out of a treetop, and now it just won't stop. Among his list of places he's randomly teleported:

1.) Into the lake. If you're passing by, you may notice either flailing arms (along with veeeery colorful curse words, or just... bubbles. Yeah. He really needs to learn this whole swimming business. It's so sad to realize he'd been talking about the dangers of lakes just a while ago. Don't worry, he's crossless, so it should be easier to heft him out? :|a

2.) Into your homes! Whether he's crashing onto your set-up breakfast table, falling into your bed, locked in your cabinets with the cleaning supplies, dropping through the fireplace, whichever you choose! Anything you can imagine in your places, go ahead and have him tumbling in or just randomly appearing.

3.) If you're around the desert, a hand suddenly shoots out of the sand!! Yeah, he got stuck and it sort of piled up from there. Unsurprisingly enough, he's used to this;

4.) A GIANT CROSS JUST FELL RIGHT ON TOP OF YOU. Don't worry, Mr. Priest is coming soon after.

5.) Just... walking nervously through the forest with his cross weighing him down. He's exhausted as hell, what with all this teleporting, and really just wants to go home and sleep in his bed. And hopefully not get sick.

Anything else you find suitable or interesting for him to appear, by all means go for it. :3c]

[He blinks at the leaf, but gives in to whatever punishment she might be ready to serve and siiiiigh-smiles. At least he can calmly explain himself in the hopes she'll be a kind, compassionate soul...]

You can say that again. Something or someone's been teleporting me all across Luceti. This poor preacherman has been—

[His cross magically appears in front of them, thudding on the ground.]

[Oh well, now that she's managed to scramble back fast enough to tip the chair over and topple onto the carpet, she's not in striking distance at least. >.> Scuse her while she untangles herself from the chair. At least she didn't fall on her compass or anything.]

[He hops off the table, straightens up his back, and strolls over to the big beast of a thing.]

[Wait, this is totally not the point.]

People are teleporting everywhere today. [She believes you. Now 'scuse her while she checks to make sure no damage was done to her map :|] So you're off the hook. I suppose it could've been worse.

Of course! I could have been teleported in naked.

It's been a reoccurring thing to people, I've heard.

[He grins and thumbs up.]

So, what's with these maps, anyway? Is that your trade, by chance?

[As a resident of a shitty planet like Gunsmoke, he could appreciate the trade.]

[Okay, naked would have been bad.]

Yup. I'm a navigator and cartographer. I was in the middle of drawing up a full map of Luceti. [Said map appears to have developed a couple of small grubby marks from the oft-teleporting Wolfwood, but nothing she can't fix. Everything is right with the world.

Though now she's checked this for sure, she'll give him a sidelong glance. Bruises, huh?] Did you end up at the top of a tree or something? Or maybe in someone's shower?

[Oft-teleporting Wolfwood doesn't even begin to describe the cruelty bestowed on him. ~~And considering this should by all means be after he visited dear ol' Sanji, a few bloody tears in his clothes that are nicely bandaged, if you're on that side of the timeline... >.>;;~~]

Fortunately no showers yet, but I've fallen through so many trees I'm almost part plant myself now. [He smiles, somehow feeling good-natured despite his shit luck.] And not to mention, they teleported me into the lake a few times, which is fantastic, considering I can't swim.

[~~Pfft, I almost imagined he'd ported from the kitchen to, say, a good 20 feet to the left |D~~ But bandages are good, means someone's already dealt with any real injuries. :|]

That's gotta suck. Do you know if anything sets it off?

[~~Sanji gave up tracking him, I'm sure~~]

No, not that I know of, and I'm not the only one who's been jumping around. I found out my pal Vash'd been leaping from tree to tree, too... So maybe it's just one of those weird Malnosso things.

[Well, that name certainly earns him a quick blink, but you are certainly no man with blue hair and evil, soulless eyes. So Nami wrinkles her nose.]

You're a friend of Vash's? From his world?

Ahaaaa, yet another friend he's made here, I take it?

[He extends a hand, smiling softly.]

I'm Wolfwood—used to travel with Vash and the girls back home. A pleasure to make your acquaintance, Ms. Map-maker.

It's Nami. [Shaking that hand there.] I met Vash when he first got here. Loaned him a coat for the snow, though I guess he had to learn the hard way what a cold climate feels like.

[Wolfwood chuckles.]

I can't say I'm very excited about the cold weather. After all, I've spent my whole life getting used to hot weather, so this'll be quite the experience.

Does it ever rain there at all?

Not that I've ever seen, no; all the water's underground. So we don't have any oceans or lakes or even rivers.

The planet we lived on before that—before I was born—probably had them, but that place is long dead.

That sounds unpleasant. [Blink.] Uh. Not to insult your home world. I'm just very attached to the ocean.

No, you're putting it lightly. The place is too hot, too violent, and way too annoying to put up with at any time of the day. [He waves a hand as he speaks, sighing.] But I guess it's better than nothing.

[He grins softly.]

And here I am in awe at a lake and some rain. I can't even imagine what a real ocean must be like...

[She grins back.] Huge and unpredictable and full of pirates and cyclones. Well, at least where we're from. But it's beautiful. [Tilting her head to consider this, and then her smile turns wry.] If you're in Luceti long enough, you may get to see it. I wouldn't put it past the Malnosso to dump one on our heads just to see how we react.

Swap out cyclones for sandstorms and I think we're talking.

[A small laugh, because the image of a giant ocean dropping down is just horrifying. Maybe he'll finally get to see what a whale looks like. *_*]

It isn't as beautiful when you're drowning in the middle of it, I would think.

No, I'd guess not. I think I'd just prefer if we suddenly had a beach on one side of the village or something.

[Sitting down on the edge of her bed.] So how long have you known Vash?
