16th Confession [Voice/Action] Forward-dated to the 25th

I—

I CAN'T DO IT.

[Hey, Journal, hear Wolfwood Milly yell in frustration. Anyone who's actually walking by would know why—after holding a cigarette inches from his her mouth, 'Milly' throws it on the ground and stomps on it violently. How could he possibly smoke in Milly's body? It just feels wrong. Drinking basically has the same feeling, really... Hell, it's not like he knows the body isn't really hers, not in their world. So he will be nicotine deprived for the next few days in his valiant, difficult efforts.

Miserable. Just miserable!

Granted, he's still carrying around a cross like it's nothing, so it shouldn't be too hard to figure out who he is. For now? He's just running around seeing what the hell's happened here. After all, people are in a panic, and he's needing to find people he knows to figure out what the hell is going on. This just had to be another event, right? First, he gets some normal-looking lady clothes for his bizarrely tall girl body (goddamn Milly, you're HUGE). He visits the apartment and eats, and then proceeds to go crash in his bed and try to sleep it off. Same as usual.

Except, fuck it, he can't. So instead he'll just be listening to all the panicked posts on the journal while shaking his head.

Her head.

...Eh.]

Ah. Well. They turned me into a lady friend of mine from back home... I guess you could say we were, uh, a little close.

[I slept with her. That probably means something a little extra. :|]

[identity profile] preciousflowers.livejournal.com 2011-01-30 06:47 am (UTC)(link)
A lady friend... so your lover? [Unless you go sleeping with every other lady out there and feel this way about them. :|]

[identity profile] iamnotmilly.livejournal.com 2011-01-30 08:12 am (UTC)(link)
[V_V]

H-ha, well... kind of. I guess.

[He's not to sure what to define it as. He definitely would have spent his life with her, if circumstances had dealt a kinder hand. Definitely.]

It was a short thing. We parted ways a little while after.

[identity profile] preciousflowers.livejournal.com 2011-01-30 08:19 am (UTC)(link)
... [You're being looked at rather intently, Wolfwood. Clearly she feels that there was more to it.]

[identity profile] iamnotmilly.livejournal.com 2011-01-30 08:33 am (UTC)(link)
[He feels that 'jiiiiii' going on there.

He just sighs.]

I broke a pretty important promise to her. Forgiveness wasn't really an option, at the time—so we separated.

[identity profile] preciousflowers.livejournal.com 2011-01-30 08:48 am (UTC)(link)
... Breaking a promise can mean death in my world. [Which was why people rarely made them, much less if they didn't think they could keep them.]

[identity profile] iamnotmilly.livejournal.com 2011-01-30 08:50 am (UTC)(link)
[Ohhh, a way to divert the subject to her! 8D

He laughs a small, humorless laugh.]

Your world sounds pretty dangerous.

[Then again, my world was a lot like that.]

[identity profile] preciousflowers.livejournal.com 2011-01-30 08:54 am (UTC)(link)
[Wolfwood you sly old man, don't think she doesn't notice that laugh. :T] I'd say it's the people trying to get into it who are more dangerous than the actual native residents.

[identity profile] iamnotmilly.livejournal.com 2011-01-30 08:57 am (UTC)(link)
[hey. HEY.

I am not old.]

Really? Sounds a little like home, for me. There are always bandits and jerks running a-muck on the innocent townsfolk. It's just awful to see a town plagued by bastards.

[Which is why I shoot them up. :Db]

[identity profile] preciousflowers.livejournal.com 2011-01-30 09:10 am (UTC)(link)
[For someone who doesn't expect to live past twenty, you are OLD.

... Very old.]

Do you do something about it, or are you a damsel-in-distress?

[identity profile] iamnotmilly.livejournal.com 2011-01-30 09:13 am (UTC)(link)
[snort]

I've never been a fan of letting someone like that push me around, no. But I am a humble preacherman—I just have to show them a little bit of mercy, for them to get the idea and tuck tail.

[identity profile] preciousflowers.livejournal.com 2011-01-30 09:20 am (UTC)(link)
You're a preacher? And your world's residents have tails? [Can be very gullible sometimes, this one.]

[identity profile] iamnotmilly.livejournal.com 2011-01-31 05:58 am (UTC)(link)
Ahaha—the tails thing is a saying, actually. But yeah, I'm what you'd call a preacher; not many seem to know what that is, so far... so color me surprised.

[identity profile] preciousflowers.livejournal.com 2011-01-31 08:47 am (UTC)(link)
I've heard of them in other worlds, but I don't think they're common in mine. Religious stuff is left to each clan's Heir.

[identity profile] iamnotmilly.livejournal.com 2011-02-01 05:24 am (UTC)(link)
Clans and Heirs... huh, our worlds may not be that similar, after all. My planet's just a sad little desert. No real structure to anything—no law, no ruler, nothing like that.

[identity profile] preciousflowers.livejournal.com 2011-02-01 08:06 am (UTC)(link)
We used to have structure, but when our rulers were killed eight years ago, we started dying out faster than ever and were hunted down more easily. Our world is being destroyed at an increasing rate because we have no ruler.

[identity profile] iamnotmilly.livejournal.com 2011-02-02 12:57 am (UTC)(link)
Mm... Our home planet's already been destroyed, I guess. Sounds like destruction just loves to follow people, no matter what planet they hail from...

[identity profile] preciousflowers.livejournal.com 2011-02-02 03:53 pm (UTC)(link)
I guess so... [Not going to bring up that she thinks it's all because of Humans to Wolfwood, nope~.]

What is your world like?

[identity profile] iamnotmilly.livejournal.com 2011-02-03 03:48 am (UTC)(link)
Nothing much but sand—according to our history, we were escaping from another planet, because it was no longer inhabitable. But something went wrong and we ended up crashing on a place where water was underground and life was hard to live.

Because of that, I guess overtime people started just fending for themselves, mostly. Towns here and there were put up, but the amount of nomads and bandits are pretty high. So... everyone ended up relying on guns and brute force to stay alive.

It was either that, or bow down to some violent gang who wanted to take your city over.

[identity profile] preciousflowers.livejournal.com 2011-02-05 06:13 am (UTC)(link)
That's... horrible... [But it's a situation eerily similar to what was going on at home.]

The people trying to invade my world, we can't use brute force against them, it's against our very nature... So wherever they find us, we have to submit and hope they show some kindness...

[identity profile] iamnotmilly.livejournal.com 2011-02-06 05:37 am (UTC)(link)
...Sounds like a horrible situation. I've seen that very problem myself—innocent women and children forced into lives of servitude, all because they can't fight back. There only real hope is that someone comes by and picks up arms for their sake.

...I guess most worlds have that problem. Good people who can't do anything about their situations.

[identity profile] preciousflowers.livejournal.com 2011-02-06 08:34 am (UTC)(link)
But you said you fight for them... Why can't there be more people like you, Mr. Wolfwood?

[identity profile] iamnotmilly.livejournal.com 2011-02-06 10:53 am (UTC)(link)
... I don't really know the answer to that, honestly. I guess there are a lot of reasons: some people are too scared to do anything... some people are content in their lot in life and don't want to involve themselves... some are already overwhelmed just trying to keep themselves and their families safe.

...And then some people just don't give a damn.

[identity profile] preciousflowers.livejournal.com 2011-02-07 02:18 am (UTC)(link)
Hmm... But... you'll stand up for the people here, right? [Please tell her you're not like other Humans back home, Wolfwood; a tiny part of her waaaaaaaaaay back wants to believe again. And if she came out for the worse... that there will be someone to stop her.]

[identity profile] iamnotmilly.livejournal.com 2011-02-07 06:12 am (UTC)(link)
[He smiles. Heh, Kaori probably doesn't know—about how he 'helped' during the fiasco with Legato. He's not sure he ever really wants her to know, considering what he'd said to Vash to try and keep everyone alive.]

I wouldn't be any sort of a man if I failed to try and stand up for the good, innocent people here.
