[Oh, excellent! The door's cracked for you! And Vash is probably complaining on the couch while Wolfwood breaks out a power tool or two. Probably complaining because Wolfwood has graciously tied him up with sturdy rope and threw him on the cushion nonchalantly.

[Indeed Vash is roped up and sitting on the couch. It really sucks sometimes having a friend like Wolfwood. Not that Vash seems to really mind the ropes at all as he keeps bickering with Wolfwood.] Yeah! Like you'll ever get them! You'll fix it just about as well as you fix that stupid bike of yours! Do even know how to USE those things?!

[Miyabi pushes open the door, muttering that she's coming inside, and...is greeted to that happy little sight. Oh, for the love of... Sighing, and rubbing his face with a single hand. Miyabi goes over to Vash first, to try and untie him.]

[Oh, she sees, and blinks once she does. Really? I mean, really? She gives Vash a look first, that she isn't exactly impressed, then sighs. These two...]

Well, whether he did or didn't, he can help. I need both of you to hold the broken pieces together - just enough so it looks like what it's supposed to look like. I can fix it a whole lot better if it's in once piece first.

[She's already slipping her sword from its holster. A bit of divine intervention should do the trick with this little oops!]

[Vash stands and grabs one end of the broken leg. Having seen a little bit of what Miyabi is capable.]

Just give her a chance, alright?

With a brush, actually. [She holds up her blade, sheath and all, and has Wolfwood examine it for a moment. or, well, the hilt, with is topped with a well maintained calligraphy brush.] I can fix a lot of things with Sumomo's help.

[She goes back towards Vash, checking over the crib.] That should be good, Vash, hold it there! There aren't any other pieces, are there?

... Huh. A brush.

[He rubs his chin.]

Alrighty then. I think that's all the pieces! Right, Mr. Crib-breaker?

Yeah it's- I DIDN'T DO IT ON PURPOSE OKAY!?

[Seriously, if the pieces aren't together, it won't work very well. Miyabi holds out the tip of the sword's brush, and smears the black ink over the damaged area, making sure it blots over the break as much as possible. With a satisfied smile, she pulls the brush away and waits.

The very second she does, the Ink Miyabi produced from her brush shimmers magically, and then fades a bit, before...poof! That break is mended like new.]

That should do it! Try testing it a little. Gently this time, Vash.

You were able to do that with a... brush?

You know what. I'm not even going to touch it anymore? [He sets the leg down.] How about that? You can put your OWN crib together, by YOURSELF.

[See? she at least can be a little polite to the poor broomhead. But once Wolfwood speaks, Miyabi just smirks and sets her sword back into the holster at her hip.]

Oh, I can do a lot of things with a brush. I think you'd be surprised, Mr. Wolfwood.

Like what other things? [He rubs his chin, thoughtful.] Since Vash has so heartlessly abandoned me after letting someone else fix his mistakes, might as well learn more about your cool powers, right?

I didn't abandon! I was bullied and it's obvious my help isn't wanted!

Mister Wolfwood, you should gladly accept and appreciate any help offered to you, even if it's not from the one who did you wrong. [Words of wisdom, and then--] Besides, would you really want Vash to fix something as important as this? I don't think you'd end up with a crib if that happened...

[She shoots Vash a quick, playful grin then moves the conversation elsewhere, to her brush skills.] Well, the things I can do aren't...exactly my powers. They're those of the gods from my homeland, but my people can use them because we train to serve those gods and keep them known and loved by the people. There are a lot of different powers, but essentially they control the very fabric of existence itself.

Wind, water, earth, fire...I can control them once I learn the right skills. Rejuvenation - the one I used just a while ago - can repair or replace broken and lost things, I can make plants grow and revive dead ones with Bloom...and I can slow down time for a little bit as well. That's Veil of Mist.

Oh, I knew better than to ask him; I'm just bugging him for no good reason.

So you can do what the malnosso do with the houses around here? Fix them like nothing ever happened, I mean. Seems like some pretty handy abilities you got there, even by Luceti's filial standards.

Yeah, very handy if it keeps my leg from being used as a crib replacement. [Yeah, he's still sour about that.]

That's not very nice... [Maybe she'll make lunch for poor Vash later. He really did seem sorry, and Wolfwood was being pretty mean to him. It's not his fault he's so clumsy.]

Mm...yes, kind of. But unlike the Malnosso, I get really, really worn out if I use my skills too much. The stronger ones especially. Rejuvenation itself is very...tiring. But I've mastered it pretty well, so fixing little things like this is no trouble at all. Just, actually fixing a house would be pretty hard, I think.

[Even if she has done it before, when Ammy was still around to help her. The earthquake a few years ago really made Miyabi learn, and learn fast.]

Still... it's pretty damn cool. It's not often people have the ability to fix things, instead of breaking 'em. [He's admiring the handiwork as we speak, man] Things break in this crazy house all the time; if I pay you somehow, you think you'd be for fixing those?
